Dear Marion,
Just over a year has past since my children and I began our relationship with the community through the Meals on Wheels program, and last Saturday I was reminded why I started. I don’t know if I will be able to express on paper what I felt as I watched my five year old son Jeremy connect with an 87 year old woman in the honest way that only a child can.

Man you must be pooped out. It must be very very hard packing all those meals.
Pack this and pack that... wooy.
You must be sweating all of the day. If I had that job I would sweat too but you want to help everyone who ordered Meals on Wheels right.
i want to help everyone who ordered it too.
Happy Hugs.
Love E. |

I am writing to thank you for your service that was provided for my mother. She passed away on February 13, 2006 at 96 and 3/4 years.
Meals on Wheels provided a much needed service to my mother. She was able to live in her own home up to the last two weeks of her life. This was very important to her to stay as independant as possible.
Meals on Wheels help her to do just that.
Thank you to all the volunteers and staff.
