How we serve our Community

At Meals on Wheels – Central Okanagan, we’re more than just a meal delivery service—we’re committed to supporting the well-being of individuals who may have difficulty preparing nutritious meals for themselves.

For over 50 years, our dedicated volunteers have been delivering more that just meals, we are delivering compassion, companionship, and connection. We believe aging in place and nourishment goes hand in hand we want that for our community.


But we can’t do this alone. We rely on the generosity of donors to keep our meals affordable and the dedication of volunteers to ensure they reach those who need them most.

How It Works

Enjoying delicious, home-style meals delivered to your door is easy!


If you’re a senior, recovering from an illness, or unable to cook for yourself, you qualify for our service with a simple sign-up process.


You can then browse our menu and choose from three entrée options each delivery day (including one vegetarian option), plus your choice of soup or salad and your choice of dessert.


Order as many or as few meals as you like throughout the month, there’s no minimum requirement. 
If you need meals for every day of the week, you can order two meals on a delivery day and save one for the next day, ensuring you always have a nutritious meal on hand.


All meals are professionally prepared by Little Hobo Restaurant and delivered straight to your door.


Our meal delivery days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 10am to 11:30am.


Meals must be ordered at least 4 days before your scheduled delivery to ensure availability.
